prayers

I can not ask for your prayers enough.  My senior pastor, Forrest Pollock and his son Preson are missing.  Pastor is married to the most beautiful and awesome lady, Dawn, and they have six children.  People have been at the church praying all night long.  I got a call from Courtney, Pastor’s oldest daughter around 7:00pm last night.  She and I have developed a very special friendship over the last year. 

I am exhausted, and I encourage you to go to www.bellshoals.com if you would like the latest updates, but here’s the short version.  Pastor Forrest, Brooke (second oldest daughter) and Preston (oldest son) flew on their personal plane to NC Sunday afternoon to see Pastors’ mom.  Pastor is a skilled pilot.  Brooke stayed with Grandma when Pastor and Preston took off at 4:00am Monday morning to pick up a friend in Arkansas, and head out to a conference in Texas.  They never made it.  No contact has been made.  Searching begun and have obviously continued. 

I’m numb.  I’m repeating the same prayers right now, and I kind of feel like a broken record, but I think God’s ok with that.  The church is open for prayer.  like I said, updates are being posted on the website, so check back there from time to time, but for now, please pray.  If any of you know this sweet girl, I will be texting or calling her with any signifigant updates.
