heaven?

Nope, not heaven, but the 2008 ARISE Arts Conference at Willow Creek June 11-13.
Not only do they offer three days of main sessions, seminars, breakout groups, and more… but they offer discounted rates and travel to see Wicked and Jersey Boys in Chicago while you’re there. According to the site, and their brochure I got in the mail yesterday, this conference is designed to help those in ministry in any of the following areas: teaching, creative services, instrumental, visual arts, drama, technical arts, worship, vocal, creative arts leadership, and dance… aka: my job description. There will also be an Expo where you can roam through exhibits of specialized worship settings. I am honestly salivating as I think about this.
I’ll get to show it to my boss when he gets back on Monday. I hope he’s as excited about it as I am and that maybe we can find the money for me to go. fingers crossed lots of prayers going toward that.
